This is a difficult and painful area for most clients. We advise clients whether:

• divorce is the most suitable way to solve their matrimonial problems
• they should seek counselling
• they have considered the implications and impact on the children (if any)

The clients would also have to consider whether they are eligible for a divorce or nullity. We assist clients to either file a divorce suit or to draw up a separation deed.

After the divorce, we also advise clients on their:

• rights to custody of children or access to children
• entitlement to maintenance and division of matrimonial assets

Where possible, we advise parties to consider mediation as an alternative to an acrimonious litigation in court.
